The Rotaract Club of UDS Wa in partnership with Rotaract Club of Kumasi donates Sanitary Pads/Panties/Books to 3 Basic Schools in the Wa Municipality.

  The donation and sanitary hygiene talk formed part of the Trimester project of the club.   The items donated included Sanitary Pads, Panties, Exercise Books/Pens.The Beneficiary Schools were Piisi Primary School, Bamahu Primary and JHS. The President of the Rotaract Club of UDS Wa Rotaractor (CP) Twumasi Oliver Junior who led the members of the Rotaract club in making the presentation indicated that the objective of this project is to help solve the adverse effects of poor sanitary hygiene such as fungal,Yeast Infections and to help retain students in school when they are in the menstrual period.  He further indicated that this was to empower them to be confident since their mobility will greatly aid their ability to stay in class and learn with comfort. He also stated the Rotaract Club of UDS Wa and Rotaract Club of Kumasi which is chartered by Rotary International and sponsored by Rotary Club of Wa and Kumasi respectively made this donation as part of their
